Finally an outfit post! I know I’ve been out of the loop for a week or so, but I’m back! Shot these shots this morning on my way out the door. I have been obsessed with neoprene material in clothing for a couple years now. I just love how structured and crisp the fabric looks. Picked this top up at asos a few months ago and I just love the bright white color and oversized, boxy fit. These Tabitha Simmons heels were a bargain find at Barneys. Purchased for a fraction of the full price, I felt like these were definitely meant to be. Don’t you just love when that happens!?

Just received these fun and gorgeous cow printed pumps from Jennie Ellen in Sweden. Aren’t they great? They are so comfortable too! I thought I’d mix it up by pairing these with these tartan plaid pants from Zara (old – last season). I am easing my way back into wearing pumps on a regular basis – it used to be all I wore, but with a little baby it seems a bit more impractical. I could NEVER give them up for good – especially when there are pumps like these out there! What do you guys think of these pumps? How would you wear them?

XO!

Shoemint recently did a collaboration with blogger Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes and these awesome booties were the result! I swooped up on them quick – they sold out in a flash! They are a great addition to the shoes I have on constant rotation and I’m excited to incorporate them into some fall-winter looks!

The jeans are ages old, I bought them in Japan at La Foret, a 8 story one-stop shop for all Japanese brands! It’s a sort of amazing place where you can wander aimlessly and find something great at every turn.

What do you guys think of this look?

Sometimes all you need is a great fitting blazer, an “essential” handbag, a funky pair of brogues, and a dash of gold. Am I right?

While my wardrobe has simplified somewhat significantly since having a baby – I have always been drawn to the basics. I think it’s more of a challenge to make the pieces that you feel the most comfortable look chic. But comfort, sometimes, is the mood of the day.

J. Brand jeans are my go-to jean, I have quite a few pairs but always reach for these. They are worn in at the knees a bit and have just the right amount of stretch. The blazer is my mom’s from more than thirty years ago – vintage. It’s a traditional schoolboy blazer. The brogues were an impulse buy from H&M. The bag is my most favorite bag. I picked it up from Moda Operandi and it’s by designer Clare Vivier based out of Los Angeles. Just bought another clutch from her which I can’t wait to feature on the blog!!

It’s been a long time since I have done an outfit post – I apologize. It’s been a crazy few months. Going from a big belly to a beautiful baby taking its place – it’s been a whirlwind!

I picked up these Zara shorts when I was still pregnant and unable to fit in them. The Alexander Wang Anjelika heels are a pair of those gorgeous nude and neutral heels that you can just wear with everything. Plus they give my legs that length that I love – perfect with a pair of high-waisted shorts that add length already. The purse is a beauty by Clare Vivier, one of my favorites ever, and is personalized via a custom design from Moda Operandi.

What are you guys getting into this weekend? XO
